We started just over 10 years ago. A summer picnic in London's Hyde Park with gramophone accompaniment planted the seed of an idea into our heads. Our music proved such a success that we started doing parties, mostly for our various knitting friends with shops and events in and around London. Soon, The Shellac Sisters were doing regular gigs ranging from clubs (both vintage and otherwise) to museums and private parties.
The Shellac Sisters: Jenny, Virginia, Jane and Theodora
We've played in 5 star hotels and basement dive bars. We've balanced on floating platforms in a moat, wowed the crowds in Spiegeltents, and got our heels stuck in the mud at festivals and garden parties!
Here are just a few of the events we have done over the years. If you want to contact us or want some more information please send us an email at info@shellacsisters.co.uk
